ALOPECIA AREATA MONOLOCULARIS IMAGES

Alopecia Monolocularis refers to a single bald spot on the scalp. Being the beginning stage of Alopecia Areata, it normally cforms within a very short period of time that some people do not realise the bald spot until another person warns them.

Another characteristics of Alopecia Areata is the shape and size of the bald spot. It normally starts in a shape of a circle roughly the size of a dime. At this point the spot might grow larger or multiply in number. This stage also determines whether the spot will progress or hair growth will take place.

Treatment nt spot baldness administered at this stage has proven to be the most effective. One reason is due to the thickness of membrane that closes the pore through which hair surfaces out of skin.

The images below show a variety of Alopecia Monolocularis occuring in the males and females with different sizes and locations.
